Week 2

Britannica Public Library Edition

In true encyclopedia fashion some topics yield lots of information and others not so much. It was interesting to see many more results for i phone than cell phone.   Now that I've been through this exercise I will try to use it as a resource, but I'm thinking that internet search engines have supplanted even encyclopedia websites.  Twenty years ago we were saying "let's look it up in the encyclopedia" to start a research project or answer a question, now its simply "Google it".  This resource is most useful for the student and the adult looking for information on a specific topic and has the added design capabilities for the curious browser.  An advantage of using Britannica and resources within Marvel is the absence of advertisement excepting links to other websites.
